Release time:2023-05-25Page View:

Ecology is a discipline that deals with the relations of living organisms to one another and to their environment. It comprises a broad range of subdisciplines that are based on the methods of investigation, the spatial scale of ecological systems under study, and biological classification. Ecology seeks to understand the dynamic connections between animals and plants and the world around them. Through ecology, we can also obtain information about the benefits of ecosystems and how best to utilize the resources of the Earth in an environmentally friendly way, ensuring a healthy environment for future generations. Ecology was regarded as a key discipline of Wenzhou University in 2007, and in 2102, it was recognized as a key construction discipline of Zhejiang Province.  This major is currently not available to international students.
